We design, build and run recirculating systems for mud crab — and we run them on our own farm first. What survives here is what we sell.
Most RAS is designed for water. This one is designed for the animal in it.
A standard recirculating system solves a chemistry problem: keep ammonia down, keep oxygen up, keep the water moving. It works, and mud crabs still die in it — because a bare plastic box is nothing like the estuary bed a crab evolved to sit in.
Habitat-Enhanced RAS adds the part everyone leaves out. Shelter, substrate cues and a defended territory the crab recognises as its own, engineered into a unit that still recirculates, still isolates, still lets you dose one box without touching the next. The animal settles faster, feeds sooner after stocking, and moults with less handling stress.
The result we care about is the only one that pays a farmer: survival goes up. Everything else — feed conversion, moult uniformity, harvest weight — follows from animals that are still alive and not fighting.

We run our own. It is the hardest thing in mud crab and the highest paid.
A soft-shell crab is a crab caught in the few hours after it sheds its old shell and before the new one hardens. Miss the window and you have an ordinary crab. Miss it badly and you have a dead one.
That means a soft-shell unit is really a monitoring problem: hundreds of individual animals, each on its own moult clock, each needing to be lifted at the right hour. We built ours around the HexFlow moult matrix — an FRP tank geometry that makes every animal visible and reachable without disturbing the rest of the batch.
We supply soft-shell crab from this unit, and we build and commission soft-shell lines for other producers.

We are not a mud crab consultancy. Mud crab is what we farm ourselves, and it is where our deepest technical work sits. But the consultancy desk works across every production model that can be made to work in Indian conditions — murrel, seabass, tiger prawn, aquaponics, integrated fish farming, bivalves, and combinations of them on one site.
We start from the wrong end on purposeMost project reports begin with a species and work forward to a number. We begin with the number. What cash flow does the promoter need, in which month, and what can they carry until then? Only after that do we choose the species and the system that delivers it.
A model that is technically beautiful and cash-flow negative for three years has failed, however good the biology looks on paper. Plenty of Indian aquaculture projects were killed by a working capital gap in month seven, not by a disease.
Integrated by defaultWhere the site allows it we design integrated aquaculture–agriculture systems, so the seafood unit and the crop share water, nutrients and land, and the waste stream of one becomes the input of the other. More output from the same footprint, and a second revenue line that does not rise and fall with the first.
Every project is built to carry organic traceability from seed to shipment and a health-aligned production status, because buyers now ask for the record before they ask for the price. A project designed for traceability from day one can answer. One retrofitted later usually cannot.
